Autoliv produces in Reșița the textile components of airbags for the giants of the automotive industry. The company is one of the most important employers in the area, hiring over 900 people from the city and its surroundings. Furthermore, through the Dual School Program launched in 2017, the company participates in training future skilled workforce.

C+C is one of the largest companies in the meat processing industry in Western Romania. Every day, 25 tones of meat products leave the factory through its own logistics resources, reaching its own stores and other chains national-wide. The company has a varied portfolio of products for all the tastes of Romanians.

EMZ Hanauer: The company manufactures lighting, door closing, and ice production systems, all of which are also made in the factory in Resita. These are components that are then integrated into washing machines, dishwashers, dryers and refrigerators. The German group is a supplier of components to major home appliance manufacturers such as Electrolux, Whirlpool, Bosch/ Siemens, Miele, Liebherr, Samsung, GE and Haier. EMZ chose Romania for a new factory primarily because it wanted to be close to its customers.

UCMH: A name with tradition in the local industrial heritage, UCMH Reșița has extensive processing capabilities on small, medium, and large lathes, milling machines, boring machines, grinding machines, and numerous other specialized machine tools necessary for manufacturing products. The company has approximately 5,000 m² of welding space and lifting capacities of 80 t at heights of 6,500–9,500 mm, as well as staff with advanced university training in welding.
