  • Autoliv produces in Reșița the textile components of airbags for the giants of the automotive industry. The company is one of the most important employers in the area, hiring over 900 people from the city and its surroundings. Furthermore, through the Dual School Program launched in 2017, the company participates in training future skilled workforce.

  • C+C is one of the largest companies in the meat processing industry in Western Romania. Every day, 25 tones of meat products leave the factory through its own logistics resources, reaching its own stores and other chains national-wide. The company has a varied portfolio of products for all the tastes of Romanians.

  • EMZ Hanauer: The company manufactures lighting, door closing, and ice production systems, all of which are also made in the factory in Resita. These are components that are then integrated into washing machines, dishwashers, dryers and refrigerators. The German group is a supplier of components to major home appliance manufacturers such as Electrolux, Whirlpool, Bosch/ Siemens, Miele, Liebherr, Samsung, GE and Haier. EMZ chose Romania for a new factory primarily because it wanted to be close to its customers.

  • Grada Plast: Is a Romanian commercial company which started its activity in 2009, based on the idea of offering customers a wide range of polyethylene and foil packaging. With their factory and warehouse in Resita, they have a large stock of all their products, enabling them to fulfill even large orders at any time, both for polyethylene or foil packaging. Over time, they have gained the trust of a significant number of customers throughout the country such as AEM, AGIL, Cotton Tex, Valeo Lighting Injection, Pangram, and Spiridusii.

  • One of the largest companies in Reșița in terms of turnover is Miruna International, insuring logistics with a modern fleet of vehicles. The company launched in 1994 and is now the employer of 350 people, working in 5 regional wearhouses and driving 83 cars and 62 vans and cargo trucks. Over 4000 clients trust their products with Miruna International distribution company.

  • Pangram is the company that created Monte Banato, a brand for pasta that Romanians enjoy for over 20 years. The company has a production capacity of 10.000 tones per year reaching #1 in sales for pasta with egg and second place in the overall market share. The products are also exported in Hungary, Germany and the Republic of Moldova.

  • Spaleck is manufacturing machines for the recycling industry for its mother company in Germany. The company successfuly combines tradition and inovation adapting its technological solutions for special requirements.   • UCMH: A name with tradition in the local industrial heritage, UCMH Reșița has extensive processing capabilities on small, medium, and large lathes, milling machines, boring machines, grinding machines, and numerous other specialized machine tools necessary for manufacturing products. The company has approximately 5,000 m² of welding space and lifting capacities of 80 t at heights of 6,500–9,500 mm, as well as staff with advanced university training in welding.
